just got home from work...im really beat. found out michael called twice for me and left 2 messages from wed. and yesterday, and i just got them tonite. so i feel like crap bc he probably thinks...eh, i dont kno what he thinks, but i hope he doesnt think im ignoring him. its too late to call now. ill call tomorrow from work...since betty took the week off and nicole is back (YESSSS). good conversation with nicole tonite, since it was just us 2. shes so damn funny. talking about her HUGE family reunion in neptune, nj. shes black, and she was just enlightening me about how the 200 + or so of her family members (who are mostly black too lol) rented a park and all these stories about the police being suspicious and bothering them and then her cousins caught a flat tire and had their car towed after being surrounded by 6 police cars bc apparently they didnt like the looks of them...it being an all white nieghborhood and all. stupid fucking racists lol. but shes too funny. sounds like fun if u ask me haha. tomorrow its nicole, taylor and i. so that should be interesting. i finished economics...yay. and right now im zoning out to the allman brothers. perfect. absolutely perfect for the mood im in now. their music has this infinite summer feeling about it. well, at least for now it does...i could listen to the allman brothers anytime. im so ready for england and paris...ahhh. im antsy. god, i wish nick would talk to me or something tho...he promised me a 411 list on things to do for while in paris. maybe ill call him sometime tomorrow since i think he doesnt work on sundays. whatever. anyways, im off.
"Lord, I was born a ramblin’ man,
Tryin’ to make a livin’ and doin’ the best I can.
And when it’s time for leavin’,
I hope you’ll understand,
That I was born a ramblin’ man.
Well my father was a gambler down in georgia,
He wound up on the wrong end of a gun.
And I was born in the back seat of a greyhound bus
Rollin’ down highway 41.
Lord, I was born a ramblin’ man,
Tryin’ to make a livin’ and doin’ the best I can.
And when it’s time for leavin’,
I hope you’ll understand,
That I was born a ramblin’ man.
I’m on my way to new orleans this mornin’,
Leaving out of nashville, tennessee,
They’re always having a good time down on the bayou,
Lord, them delta women think the world of me.
Lord, I was born a ramblin’ man,
Tryin’ to make a livin’ and doin’ the best I can.
And when it’s time for leavin’,
I hope you’ll understand,
That I was born a ramblin’ man.
Lord, I was born a ramblin’ man..."
